Shandong University Mathematical Modeling association holds MATLAB lecture
On the evening of April 18, Shandong University Mathematical Modeling Association held a lecture on MATLAB in Lizhong building 117 classroom. Mr. Ruan Kajia, Mr. Ma Wenhui, Senior engineer of MathWorks, and Mr. Wan Lin, School of software, Shandong University attended the meeting and gave a speech. This lecture is presided by Cheng Wenhao, President of mathematical modeling Association. Shandong University’s students attended this lecture.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Ruan Kajia gave a speech on MATLAB data analysis and visualization, introduced the client interface, data structure, data type and matrix calculation of MATLAB, and explained the MATLAB visualization code plot Gallery by displaying the code. Later, Ruan Kajia also explained the functions and characteristics of the real-time editor and the importance of MATLAB in data analysis.
Then, Mr. Ma Wenhui introduced MATLAB's online courses and learning resources, artificial intelligence, deep learning and other aspects of knowledge. Mr. Ma used Matlab to write a program to demonstrate face recognition, voice typing, photo recognition and other tools that we often use in reality , which attracted the cheers of the students.
At the end of the meeting, Mr. Wan Lin introduced Shandong University's plans for buy equipment in the next few years and introduced Shandong University's cloud computing platform login and operation methods. In lecture, teachers make interact with students by asking questions, answering questions raised by students and giving prizes, which enlivens the atmosphere of the lecture.
The speech of three teachers were logical and clear. The students also spoke actively and asked questions to interact with the teachers. The successful holding of this lecture improved students' understanding of MATLAB, stimulated students' enthusiasm for learning Matlab, and is of great significance to students' future modeling competition.
