Research Center for Mathematics and Interdisciplinary Sciences holds Qilu Youth ForumMathematics and Interdisciplinary Sub-forum

On the afternoon of October 17, the Fourth Qilu Youth Forum of Shandong UniversityMathematics and Interdisciplinary Sub-forum was held in Lecture Hall 227, East Building, Huagangyuan. This forum was hosted by the Research Center for Mathematics and Interdisciplinary Sciences (hereinafter referred to as the Center). Luan Yihui, deputy director of the Center, hosted it, Zhao Yongxin, executive deputy director of the Center, invited three outstanding young scholars at home and abroad, and some teachers and students from the Center and the School of Mathematics to participate in the forum.

At the beginning of the forum, Luan Yihui, the deputy director of the center, introduced the significance of holding the Qilu Youth Forum to introduce outstanding talents, promote academic exchanges and accelerate the integration of disciplines, and briefly introduced the basic situation of the three invited guests to the teachers and students participating in the meeting. Later, Zhao Yongxin introduced the basic situation of the center, including a good hardware environment and advanced software facilities, expressed the wishes to recruit talents, welcomed the visiting scholars and invited them to join the center's scientific research team. .

Furthermore, three outstanding young scholars gave wonderful reports on their research directions. Wang Xuehe from Singapore introduced the "Application of Game Theory in Transportation and Network Economy", and combined with practical cases, she showed everyone the wonderful application of game theory. Chen Jianyi from China made a report under the title of "Research on Periodic Solutions of Nonlinear Wave Equations in High-Dimensional Spherical Fields", introduced the relevant theories of wave equations, and related applications in the fields of vibration and electromagnetic waves. Li Huanhui from Australia gave a report entitled "Leavitt Road Algebras for Graphs", explaining how this type of algebra can be classified using algebraic representation theory, and its relationship with computational algebra K groups, functional analysis, and GK algebra, etc.

The holding of this forum not only well demonstrated and publicized the software and hardware conditions and development prospects of the center, but also attracted outstanding scholars at home and abroad to provide a powerful strength, and strengthened the academic communication between the Center's teachers and students and foreign school scholars and promoted cross-disciplinary integration.
