Research Center Launches "Review History, Love Motherland" Theme Education and Learning Activities
To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the Research Center for Mathematics and Interdisciplinary Sciences organized all postgraduates to the Qingdao Museum on September 26 to carry out a theme education and learning activity of "Review History, Love Motherland".
The lecturer explained the course in detail the history of Qingdao and related achievements since the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China. The lecturer explained from ancient sites to today's red tiles and green trees, from semi-finished pottery to today's ubiquitous porcelain, from desolate land to important ports for foreign trade in New China, from been occupied by Germany and Japan through colonial treaties to a socialist well-off life that is independent, self-reliant, peaceful and prosperous. The postgraduates felt the twists and changes of the times in these thousands of years.
Opening up a corner of modern Chinese history, the postgraduates learned the resilience of the revolution that should not be easily abandoned from the arduous course of the Chinese people's resistance to the powers of various countries. From the heroic stories of revolutionary martyrs serving the country, they learned the courage to pursue justice and defend the country. From the dedication of the seniors in scientific research who continued to explore the truth and serve the country with science and technology under the conditions of barrenness, they learned the persistence of beliefs and patriotism.
History has witnessed the transformation of an ancient and great country. We are proud that we are descendants of the Dragon. We are proud of adhering to the correct path of a society with Chinese characteristics under the leadership of the Communist Party of China. We are also proud of the rapid development and progress of the great motherland since the 70th anniversary of the founding of the country!
Through this theme education activity, the postgraduates have a deeper understanding of the school's purpose of "building a strong country for the country and storing talents for the world" and expressed that they will remember the original heart and serve the country with science and technology.
