Jia Yingmin (1958.10—) is a professor and PhD supervisor of the School of Automation Science and Electrical Engineering of Beihang University. He was awarded the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars in 1996, and elected as a distinguished professor of the Chang Jiang Scholars Program in 2004.
He received his doctor’s degree from Beihang University in 1993 and completed his postdoctoral research there in 1994. In recent years, his research focuses on robust control, adaptive control and intelligent control as well as their applications in vehicle systems and industrial processes, producing a number of meaningful results. He has published more than 40 papers in Chinese and international journals, including the IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control and the IEEE Transactions on Control Systems Technology. He was a funded visiting scholar at the Institute of Robotics and Mechatronics of the German Aerospace Center (DLR), the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) and Osaka Prefecture University. At present, he holds positions at the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Key Laboratory of Systems and Control of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Association of Automation and the Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
