Huanshui Zhang (SM’06) received the B.S. degree in mathematics from Qufu Normal University, Shandong, China, in 1986, the M.Sc. degree in control theory from Heilongjiang University, Harbin, China, in 1991, and the Ph.D. degree in control theory from Northeastern University, Shenyang, China, in 1997.,He was a Postdoctoral Fellow with Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, from 1998 to 2001 and a Research Fellow with Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong, from 2001 to 2003. He currently holds a Professorship with Shandong University, Shandong, China. He was a Professor with the Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, from 2003 to 2006. He also held visiting appointments as a Research Scientist and Fellow with Nanyang Technological University, Curtin University of Technology, and Hong Kong City University from 2003 to 2006. His research interests include optimal estimation and control, time-delay systems, stochastic systems, signal processing, and wireless sensor networked systems.
