The Research Centre for Mathematics and Interdisciplinary Sciences (RCMIS) at Shandong University (SDU) is an independent scientific research institution directly under the university. The centre was established at Shandong University (Qingdao Campus) in November 2018. RCMIS provides superior research conditions and environment for mathematicians and data scientists. Moreover, SDU provides each staff with first-class health care service and outstanding children education from kindergarten to secondary school. In the fourth China Discipline Ranking, mathematics of SDU was officially recognized as A+. RCMIS deeply cooperates with the Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Position Title
1. Special-granted Postdoc：
Requirements: Ph.D. recipients in mathematics, engineering or other related fields with great potential for scientific research and scientific ethics in leading universities in the world. This position is for the first-class Ph.D under 35 years old who have involved in the National Postdoctoral Innovative Talent Support Plan, or the Postdoctoral International Exchange Program.
Salary and Benefits (for full time work):
§ The annual salary is above ￥400,000 RMB (Before Tax), including allowance and subsidies from SDU, Qingdao government, and RCMIS etc.
§ Rent a postdoctoral apartment with a special rent rate
§ ￥30,000 RMB start-up funding and allowance by RCMIS.
§ Excellent campus environment and convenient facilities including health care service.
§ Provide outstanding children's education.
· Position Description
This position is for 2 years with the possibility of renewal of one more year. Postdocs who have met the assessment requirements can directly transfer to relevant teaching positions or apply for other talent programs.
2. Key-supported Postdoc：
Requirements: Ph.D. recipients in mathematics, engineering or other related fields with good potential for scientific research and scientific ethics. This position is for young Ph.D under 35 years old.

· Position Description
This is a two to three years’ program. Postdocs who have passed the assessment can transfer to teaching positions according to RCMIS’ recruitment plan.
3. Project Supported Postdoc：
Requirements: Ph.D recipients who are not more than 35 years old. Candidates should receive a doctorate within 3 years of full-time Ph.D in leading universities in the world and have good potential for scientific research and scientific ethics.
